MR. STIG LANGVAD (DENMARK) ELECTED FOR THE COMMITTEE ON THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (CRPD)
Denmark’s candidate for the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), Mr. Stig Langvad, was elected on 1 September 2010 to sit on the Committee for a term of 4 years, from 1 January 2011 to 1 January 2014. Mr. Stig Langvad is currently Chairman of the Disabled Peoples Organisations Denmark and has an extensive record in promoting the rights of persons with disabilities.
